There are hundreds of parks within our vicinity... Many of which people have never even heard of. So Bray and mom have set out to try out new parks on a weekly basis. Bray loves exploring and finding great new parks and playgrounds to enjoy. We have been rating our Maryland area parks based on size, landscaping, functionality, views, fun and staff (where applicable)! With the results, we've put together the "Bray Loves Parks" blog. Enjoy! :)

John H. Downs Memorial Park | Pasadena
8311 John Downs Loop
Pasadena, MD 21122
4.5 out of 5 swings
Johns Downs Park is a bit of a hidden gem! Though there is an entry fee to get into the park, ($6 cash only) It's worth it to us. There's plenty of room to run around and play, have a picnic, go to the playground, sit on the benches or rocks and watch the waves crash from the Chesapeake Bay, or catch some summer entertainment and live concerts. You can even take your pup to the dog beach! There are also basketball courts and ball fields! There are 5 miles worth of trails and 236 acres to this massive park.
Bray loved running around this park and exploring it's hilly terrain.
Overall, Bray and I were very impressed so we gave it 4.5 out of 5 swings.
